Towards a Quieter Future

The German Acoustical Society (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Akustik, DEGA) is pleased to invite you to the 45th International Congress and Exposition on Noise Control Engineering, INTER-NOISE 2016, which is organized in cooperation with Hamburg University of Technology (Technische Universität Hamburg-Harburg, TUHH). The congress will take place in Hamburg, Germany from August 21 to 24, 2016 at the Congress Center Hamburg (CCH), which is situated alongside Planten un Blomen, a wonderful park filled with colorful flowers, refreshing ponds, and fountains. Located right in the heart of the city, and only a one minute walk from one of Hamburg’s main train stations, the CCH is close to the shopping and entertainment districts of Hamburg and is easily accessible by public transportation.

Immediately following INTER-NOISE 2016, three satellite symposia will wrap up the event in the marvelous and vibrant Capital City of Berlin from August 25 to 26, 2016. These symposia on Building Acoustics, European Noise Policy, and Soundscape and Psychoacoustics are organized in cooperation with the Technical University of Berlin (Technische Universität Berlin, TUB) as well as the Acoustics, Noise Control, and Vibration Engineering Standards Committees of DIN and VDI (NALS).
